Recruiting ARC readers!

Hi folks. Those of you who know me know I’ve been furiously working on this project for the last six months. Launch is in two weeks, and I’m assembling a team:

  • Avid readers: if reading a full-length novel by about February 12th isn’t a big deal, this is for you.

  • Gamers, roleplayers, geeks, and nerds: if you like V.G.O., Sword Art Online, Log:Horizon, WH+WH40K, or some oldschool Tron, and you want more, this is for you.

  • Roman/medieval history buffs, LARPers, HEMA fighters, Computer scientists, AI specialists, and futurists, a lot of research went into this; this is also for you.

  • People who are willing to share a review.

What’s it about?

Nomad Soul is the story of a 31-year-old gamer who has a weekend to prove a Virtual Reality Role-Playing Game works or he’ll lose his job. So he sneaks into the testing lab and dives in himself.

It’s not enough to just be there, he has to get good enough footage to make a game trailer. He foils an assassination, eats, drinks, flirts, haggles with an arms dealer, and gets entangled in local politics.

What he doesn’t know is that the AIs running the game have minds of their own, and while they try to use him to their advantage in their power struggles, corporate security is close to discovering him in the real world.

It’s the best book I’ve written to date. If you’re interested in getting it early and helping review it so others know what they’re getting into, click here.

What would I have to do?

The launch is an important part of a book’s electronic life. A good launch means more people will see the book, and maybe choose to buy it. You can see on Amazon I tend to average 4.5 out of 5.0 stars or better; people are going to love this book, but I need to get it in front of them first.

You wouldn’t have to do anything. You can back out anytime, even after you’ve read the ARC. But if you enjoy the book and you think others would too, I’d appreciate it if you’d tell people about it on launch day, and leave a review. Everyone experiences things differently, and your opinion could help someone make the decision to give Nomad Soul a try.

I’ll be sending out links to the ARC on this mailing list, just sign up and you’ll be good to go.
